Flew my trainer kite off spit until Roger turned up then went out with 8.5m for about an hour. Didn't fall in for a while then started to and hands got cold. Sailed off spit but wind a bit lighter inshore and big sail a bu**er to get out of water in current. Sea was quite big in places considering wind was light. Paul came out for a while too.
Had thought of buying a wider board off eBay for 8.5m, but after today glad I didn't.
